CHECK-IN TIMELINE

2:00 - 6:00 PM - Check-in at Mark Twain Hall and park at RC 15
5:45 - 6:45 PM - Dinner at The Mark (within Mark Twain Hall). If you arrive after 7:30 PM there will not be dinner provided.
7:00 PM - First training meeting begins at Middlebush Hall
Lodging and food: All trainees will be staying at Mark Twain Residence Hall. All meals will be provided by the training from Wednesday dinner through Sunday breakfast.
THINGS TO BRING

Comfortable walking shoes — you will be walking from the dorm to Middlebush hall (roughly 8 min) and back twice every day.

Clothing for meetings, recreation time, and sleepwear (see guidelines below). **Note: it is hot and very humid in Columbia so you may consider packing extra clothing, but laundry facilities are available if needed.**

A sweater or light jacket in case Middlebush Hall gets cold.

Personal toiletries, including sunscreen and any necessary medications.

Shower shoes (suite style restrooms).

A refillable water bottle.

Earplugs.

Umbrella.

Recovery Version Bible (Old & New Testament), pen, and notebook (if desired).

If you bring a computer, tablet, or other personal device, it should be used only for material and resources related to the training.
TRANSPORTATION
Driving
It is recommended to arrive between 2:00 - 4:00 PM in order to check-in and eat dinner prior to the 7:00 PM meeting. If you will have a car you need a parking permit. An email will be sent out closer to the training date that you must fill out before you arrive at MU campus.
Flying

If you are flying into St. Louis or Kansas City, keep in mind Columbia is a 2-hour drive from both of these locations.

The church in St. Louis/Kansas City is not responsible for providing hospitality prior to or after the college training.

The training is unable to provide transportation from St. Louis/ Kansas City to Columbia. Please make your own arrangements to travel between Columbia and St. Louis/Kansas City.
FOOD
All meals will be eaten in the dining hall. If you indicated in your registration that you have food allergies or intolerances, an email will be sent to you from the MU dining services. Please fill out this form no later than June 30, 2024.
SERVICE
A part of the training is learning to coordinate and serve with others in practical daily affairs. Therefore, it is expected that every brother and sister participating in the training is willing and ready to help with the practical services related to the training as assigned or requested by those carrying out the training.
